Abstract

Considerable number of respondents were interested to undertake training and start beekeeping as an enterprise. Trained respondents perceived more enablers as compared to untrained respondents and men perceived more enablers as compared to women. Most important enablers perceived by respondents about beekeeping were economic enablers, followed by physical, health related and agricultural. Technical constraints were the most important constraints faced by respondents.
