Abstract

The Rajasthan state was selected for the purpose of study as it has maximum number of dairy clinics. Three dairy clinics were selected from three districts, i.e., Jaipur, Bharatpur, Hanumangarh and two more dairy clinics from Sri Ganganager making a total of five dairy clinics. Five organizers of dairy clinics were included to ascertain the constraints experienced in organizing dairy clinics. The main and foremost important constraints they were facing are insufficient funds, farmers were expecting free inputs and services from dairy clinics and lack of modern/diagnostic facilities at dairy clinic lack of emphasis on education of farmers. To improve the working conditions of dairy clinics these constraints should be mitigated.
