The results of the study clearly indicated that average net income was significantly higher (Rs. 13,285.30) in the member group than non-member group (Rs. 3,602.75). The overall labour utilization per annum per household was also significantly higher (207.36 man days) in the member group than the non-member group (181.92 man days). The study noticeably indicated a positive impact of dairy cooperatives on the income and employment generation of milk producers in the study area.
