The present investigation was conducted to study the effect of lime on Physicochemical, biological parameters as well as production level in aquaculture pond. Experiment comprised of two treatments one without lime and other lime treated pond. Results revealed that lime treated pond resulted in better physico chemical and biological conditions as well as growth rate, condition factor, specific growth rate. The results obtained with lime were superior to control and significantly different (P<0.05). Any kind of adverse effects due to lime on the water quality parameters, behavioral and feeding response of fish were not encountered during the period of investigation.
