Abstract

In recent years due to increase of industrialization and other anthropogenic activities there is remarkably increase in pollution of both aquatic and land which ultimately causes toxicity to different fauna therefore it is essential to identify the toxicity with sensitive tests viz. Micronuclei test, SCE and CA all are genotoxicity indicators. Micronuclei test is applied both for laboratory assays of genotoxicity of many compound and for insitu surveys to assess the risk of mutagen polluted environment.
