Relative toxicity of different insecticides to the adults of Phyllotreta cruciferae (Goeze) (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae)

The toxicity of some commonly used insecticides was evaluated against the adults of Phyllotreta cruciferae (Goeze) to generate the base-line data. The descending order of toxicity of five insecticides together with LC₅₀ values in parentheses was cypermethrin (0.0002416), malathion (0.01484), endosulfan (0.002353), phosphamidon (0.03532) and monocrotophos (0.006952).
