Effect of insecticidal seed treatment, soil application and their combinations to control termite damage in wheat

Different modes of application of aldrin, viz, (i) seed treatment, (ii) soil treatment, and (iii) their combinations, were studied along with BHC 10% dust @ 25 kg/ha as soil treatment for termite control. Seed treatment with aldrin @ 400 ml/100 kg seed was most suitable and economical to control termites in wheat.
