Eight species of Adelocera Latreille were collected from North-West India. Of these, seven, viz., pentagonalus, rectangulosus, foveatus, imfoveatus, crenulatus, morniensis and mayae are new. These are distinguished on the basis of body colour, length of antennae in relation to prothorax, prothoracic carinae, length of prosternopleural grooves, lateral margins of prothorax, and shape of scutellum.
