Six new species of Ctenicera Latreille, viz., C. parvus, C. longiantennus. C. badrinathensis, C. montanus, C. alpinus, and C. subnivosus collected from the hills of northern Himalaya, have been described in details. These can be separated on the basis of morphologcal characters, viz, colour of the body and its pubescence, lengtti of antennae and the comparative length of its third and fourth segments; dimension of prothorax, number of carinae on its posterior angles; shape of metacoxal plate, length of aedeagus and its furcae. These species were obtained from different crops in the fields as well as from the forests.
