Two new species of Ludiinae, one each from Aphanobius Esch., viz., A. touffus sp. nov. and Sericus Esch., viz., S. lahaulensis sp. nov. are described. These genera are separated from each other on the basis of dimensions of frons and the shape of mandibles. These species were collected from the localities ranging from foot hills to high altitudes of Himalayas.
