Four new species, viz., Chalcolepis pannus, C. rotundoextremus, C. kashyapi and Tetrigus submontanus are described under two genera (Chacolepis Candeze and Tetrigus Candeze) of the subfamily Hemirrhipinae. The species were dinerentiated on the basis of coiour of scales covering the body, with or without prominent patches, presence of ridge on prothoracic surface, and eiytrae rounded or truncated at extremities. These species were collected under the light sources from the mountainous localities of North India.
