Anatomical account of the internal organs of reproduction of Melanotus foliatus Vats & Chauhan provided characters of taxonomic significance in relation to other species of Elateridae. In male the differences were observed in the testes, accessory glands, and in female in ovaries, spermathecal glands and spermatheca. These may help in determining the pwtping of the species.
