Abstract

Two new species, viz., Anagyrus fatimae and Echthroplexis shafii are described in detail with illustrations. A. fatimae sp. nov. can be separated from closely related A. pseudococci (Girault) in having its antennae with basal half of first funicle segment black, twice and a half times as long as wide, funicle segments 1–6 gradually increasing in width distad and decreasing in length; club long, four times as long as wide; and mid basitarsus about as long as following segments together. E. shafii sp. nov. can be distinguished from the allied species E. ferrierei (Hayat et al.) in having body yellowish-brown except major part of mesoscutum and propodeum dark; all funicle segments brown; sub apical oval hyaline part present on fore wings; stigmal vein about as long as marginal and post marginal veins together; and mid-tibia1 spur distinctly or much longer than basitarsus.
