Abstract

At the neuro-muscular junction, free form of pigment granules as well as enclosed in vesicles are observed. These granules measure 0.8μ by 1.4μ. It is motile gram negative culturable non-spore forming water soluble pigment synthesizing rod shaped bacteria. They are capable of producing structurally comparable glial components such as satellite, capitate and epithelial glia. Also, they are capable of producing neuronal structures resembling neurosecretory as well as dendrite forming neurons. Tracheal and diaoptrics evolve from them. The pigment glia of visual system as well as of opposing parietal nervous system and pigment granules of epidermis are all culturable and have similar aforesaid characteristics.
