Tetralobus quadrifoveatus, a new species from Uttar Pradesh, has been described. Body is dark brown, covered with small, yellowish brown, setae like pubescence. Prothorax broader than long, convex, with four fossae on its dorsal surface. Antennae brown, third to tenth segments bipectinate. Elytrae rounded at distal extremities. It is distinct from other species. It bas been named on the basis of four fossae on the prothorax.
