Three new species of genus Ctenicera Latreille, viz., C. himalayana, C. indentata and C. indiana are described and illustrated. The new species C. himalayana and C. indentata can be separated from their allied species C. longiantennus Vats & Chauhan as antenna not reaching middle of body (reaching in longiantennus), head and thorax black (brownish in longiantennus), elytra less than 3x prothorax length (more in longiantennus), pubescence silvery white in himalayana and brownish yel10w in indentata (yel1ow in longiantennus) and furcae extending beyond anterior limits of parameres (not reaching in longiantennus). The characters differentiating C. indiana from its allied species C. badrinathensis Vats & Chauhan include: mandible dented (bifid in latter); prothorax longer than broad (as long as broad in latter); pubescence silvery white (yel1owish brown in latter); and head and thorax black but elytra fuscous (body uniformly fuscous in latter). The characters separating C. indiana from the other two new species are: posterior margin of pronotom entire (furrowed in himalayana), pronotum longer than broad (as long as broad in himalayana), antennal segment 3 shorter than 4 (equal in himalayana); elytra rounded at extremity (indented in indentata), carina on posterior angles short, not reaching middle of prothorax (long, extending beyond in indentata), pubescence silvery white (yellowish in indentata); and head with rounded punctation (oval in himalayana but hexagonal in indentata). A key to the Indian species of this genus is provided.
