The relative performance of 83 Brassica germplasms against the mustard aphid, Lipaphis erysimi (Kalt.) infestation was studied during rabi 1989–90. Based on Aphid Infestation Index (0–5 rating scale), germplasms were classified into different grades of resistance. The screening revealed that two germplasms, viz, B-85 glossy and RW-White glossy were graded as highly resistant, 13 germplasms as resistant and 21 as moderately resistant; whereas 42 were rated susceptible, and 5 germplasms as highly susceptible to L. erysimi.
