A new species of whitefly, Rabdostigma mahableshwarensis from Memycylon umbellatum collected at Mahableswar (Maharashtra: India) is described and illustrated. This new species is quite distinct from the other known species, viz, Rabdostigma saklaspurensis (David) by the presence of tassellated dorsum and the absence of submarginal setae. Also, a key to the Indian species of Rabdostigma is provided.
