Two species, viz., Tenthredo nefaensis Saini & Bharti and T. balbiri Saini & Bharti, have been suppressed in synonymy to T. smitensis Singh & Saini and T. megacephala Cameron, respectively. The exactly similar external genitalia and other morphological characters barring certain insignificant colour variations confirm their status as the junior synonyms.
