A new hypopus of Calvolia longireticulatae sp. nov. collected on a meloid beetle from Tamil Nadu, India, is described and adequately illustrated. This new species has long cell like patterns on the dorsum and the number of setae on body and legs which distinguish it from other Calvolia species.
