Studies undertaken in Kharif season from 1980 to 2000 on relationship between shoot fly incidence & some ecological factors, revealed that the peak period of shoot fly incidence was noticed from 13 to 41 days after germination. The significant negative correlation was observed with maximum and minimum temperatures, ‘r’ values being −0.3127 & −0.2752. The morning and evening relative humidity was found to be positively associated with shoot fly incidence however, it was not significant. The rainfall do not have any correlation with shoot fly incidence.
