Abstract

Joint action potential of neem (Azadirachta indica) (N) in combination with sweet-flag (Acorus calamus) (S) and pungam (Pongamia glabra) (P) at 1:1:1 (NSP I), 2:1:1 (NSP II) and 3:1:1 (NSP III) ratios (v/v) for antifeedant and growth inhibitory effects on Earias vittella showed, reduced food intake by E. vittella in all the treatments compared to control. NSP (I) 60EC @ 0.3% has gave 80 per cent feeding protection over control against third instar larvae of E. vitella.
