The foraging activity of bee visitors on litchi flower in North Bihar was carried out at Pusa (Samastipur), Bihar and the maximum number of bee foragers/minute/panicle was recorded in Apis mellifera (46.51 %) followed by Apis cerana indica (40.28 %), Apis dorsata (9.05%) and Apis florea (4.16%). The foraging rate (number of flowers visited by bees per minute) was maximum (10.74) in Apis mellifera followed by Apis cerana indica (9.30), Apis dorsata (2.09), and Apis florea (0.96). The maximum bee foragers/minute/panicle was recorded during 10.30–11.30 h followed by 11.30–12.30 h and the least was recorded at 15.30–16.30 h of the day.
