Adults of 5 species of family Calliphoridae were observed visiting carcasses. Larval stages of only three species i.e. Calliphora vicina Robineau Desvoidy, 1830; Chrysomya megacephala (Fabricius, 1784) and Chrysomya rufifacies (Macquart, 1842) were observed. Calliphora vicina was found to breed in carrion only during winter and spring season. Whereas Chysomya megacephala and Chrysomya rufifacies were observed breeding throughout the year.
