Newly developed plastic cages (15” × 12”) provided congenial environment for egg laying of Antigastra catalsunalis and were found cost effective. Four holes of size 5” × 5” were made and wire mesh was fixed to prevent the escape of adults. Cages were covered with wet muslin clothes and tied with rubber band.
