The genus Pramadea Moore has been revalidated and recharacterized for its type species denticulata Moore. The male and female external genitalia of all the four known Indian species of this genus i.e. denticulata (Moore), ovialis (Walker), lunalis (Guenee) and crotonalis (Walker) have been studied and illustrated. A key to the species of the genus has also been formulated.
