Abstract

Studies on seasonal abundance and population dynamics of Plutella zylostella alongwith natural enemies revealed that pest appeared in February end and its population peaked in mid-April during 2001–02. Four parasitoids viz. Diadegma fenestralis, Cotesia plutellae, Brachymeria excarinata and Platybus sp. were found parasitising diamondback moth, the domimant being D. fenestralis and C. plutellae.
