Abstract

Field evaluation of twenty cucumber genotypes against fruit fly, Bactrocera cucurbitae under mid hills of Himachal Pradesh revealed three genotypes as moderately resistant, eight as susceptible and nine as highly susceptible. Cucumber fruits of susceptible and highly susceptible genotypes revealed higher amount of total sugars, total free amino acids and lower amount of total phenols as compared to moderately resistant genotypes.
