Biology of Tarucus alteratus Moore was studied on the host plant, Zizyphus jujuba Lamk. and gross morphology, dimensions and durations of various stages of life history have been recorded. The aspect of myrmecophily by Crematogaster hodgsoni (ants) (Hymnoptera) has been observed in larval and pupal stages.
