Abstract

Studies on the cummulative effects of food and population density on the developmental biology of Dysdercus koenigii Fab. for three successive generations revealed that fecundity, fertility, life span, survival rate and body size fell while the egg length and flight activity increased with increasing density and poor nutrition intensified the effect.
