Abstract

The IPM Module, consisting seed treatment with Trichoderma viride Pers. @ 4g/kg, foliar spray of neem seed kernel extract (5%) applied at 30 days after sowing, foliar spray of sorghum leaf extract (10%) at 20 and 30 DAS, installation of pheromone traps @ 10/ha each for the monitoring of H. armigera and S. litura, installation of “T” shaped bamboo bird perches @ 60/ha and need based application of SI NPV spray @ 250 LE/ha was effective pest management option for groundnut + sunflower based production system.
