Efficacy of two drugs – Supradyn and Spirulina solution on growth efficiency, silk productivity and reproductive efficiency of mulberry silkworm, Bombyx mori L.

Investigations on growth promoting effect of Supradyn (minerals and vitamin mixed tablet) and Spirulina (single cell protein) and Spirulina fusciformis on the silkworm Bombyx mori L. indicated that after the fortification of Supradyn and Spirulina both significantly increased the growth of silkworm, Bombyx mori. Fortified agent not only increased the growth of silk worm but also enhanced the reproductive efficiency and silk productivity. Spirulina treated silkworm had high nutritional efficiency and silk productivity than the Supradyn.
