Distribution of Bacillus thuringiensis Berliner in samples from warehouse and insect cadavers

A total of 1045 bacterial colonies found in warehouse samples had 58.3% Bacillus thuringienesis (B.t.), with 49.6 colonies per positive sample. Overall B.t. index for warehouse samples was 0.3. Of the 344 bacterial colonies examined from all insect cadavers, only one was considered B.t. with B.t. index of 0.20.
