Susceptibility tests applying Organochlorine, Organophosphorus and Synthetic pyrethroids for 60 minutes exposures were carried out against Anopheles culicifacies, An.stephensi and An.subpictus adults. The laboratory results have shown that An.culicifacies the vector of rural malaria and An.stephensi the vector of urban malaria were resistance to DDT, where as all the species were found susceptible to deltamethrin. However, against malathion An.culicifacies and An.stephensi requires continuous monitoring.
