Abstract

The genus Tenagogonus Stal., is hitherto represented by a single species viz., Tenagogonus (Tenagogonus) nicobarensis Anderson from Andman, India. (Anderson, 1964). A new species of the genus Tenagogonus Stal., Tenagogonus (Limnometra) mayanki sp.nov. is described from Uttar Pradesh, India establishing the first record of the subgenus Limnometra.
