Life table for Scymnus coccivora Ayyar on two mealybugs, Maconellicoccus hirsutus(Green) and Planococcus citri Risso studied at 29.5 ± 2.1°C and 69.2 ± 3.2% RH revealed that the rate of increase of population of S. coccivora on M. hirsutus and P. citri would be 20.11 and 17.65 times/generation, respectively with mean time for completing a generation was 34.12 and 31.47 days. The doubling time required for the population of S. coccivora was 10.046 and 12.160 days on M. hirsutus and P. citri, respectively. The real mortality at various stages of S. coccivora, egg, I, II, III, IV instar, prepupa, pupa and adult on M. hirsutus and P. citri was calculated as 21.0,1.0,1.0, 2.0,1.0,1.0,2.0 and 0.0 and 25.0,1.0, 1.0, 1.0, 2.0, 1.0, 0.0 and 0.0 per cent, respectively. On reaching the stable age distribution, the population of S. coccivora in various stages, egg, larva, pupa and adult contributed, respectively to the tune of 28.92, 45.26, 6.53 and 5.99 and 30.77,36.09,8.57 and 8.38 per cent in M. hirsutus and P. citri.
