First report of an interesting species of mantis, Deiphobe infuscata From Wayand, Kerala, India (Mantodea: Mantidae)
Abstract
The mantis Deiphobe infuscata (Saussure) (male) is described. The specimen was collected from Wayanad, Kerala. Five species of the genus Deiphobe has been reported from various parts of India so far, no species were reported from Kerala yet. So it forms a new record of the species genus Deiphobe Stal from Kerala.
