Abstract

Field releases to establish the bioefficacy of the egg parasitoid, Parachrysocaris javensis was made at Vajarmatti (Mudhol Tq., Bagalkot Dist.). The release of egg parasitoid, P. javensis at all the three dosages (1.0, 1.5, 2.00 lakhs/ha) was found equally effective in parasitizing egg and egg mass. The release of P. javensis @ 1.0 lakh per ha was cost effective.
