Studies on bio-efficacy of five insecticides against mango shoot gall psylla, Apsylla cistellata Buckton revealed that monocrotophos (0.04%) and dimethoate (0.03%) effectively check nymphal feeding at ovipositional site. The gall formation reduced with three sprays at 20 days interval starting in the last week of August. Most of these galls were nymph free and 185.00 and 181.20 kg average yield per tree was recorded in monocrotophos and dimethoate treated trees, respectively.
