Abstract

Field investigations on the effect of intercrops (red gram, groundnut, soybean, green gram, cowpea and coriander) on the incidence and damage by shoot fly (Atherigona soccata Rondoni) on sorghum showed minimum incidence of shoot fly than in sole sorghum. Sorghum + cowpea recorded less number of eggs and per cent dead heart.
