Field investigation on the effect of biopesticides and insecticides against larval mortality of Helicoverpa armigera revealed that spray of quinalphos gave highest 100 percent mortality of larvae after last spraying followed by maximum 17.85 q/ha grain yield of gram with 6.09 per cent increase yield over control followed endosulfan by giving 98 percent larval mortality and 15.02 q/ha higher yield with 58.52 per cent increase yield over control (6.23 q/ha).
