Studies on the biology of Thiacidas postica Walker. on ber indicated that the incubation period, larval period and pupal period lasted 7.96,28.33and 10.35 days, respectively. The male lived for 6.4 days, where as female lived for 4.84 days. The pre-oviposition and oviposition period were 1.50 and 2.12 days, respectively. The fecundity of female was 209 days. The total life cycle (egg to adult) was of 52 days.
