Abstract

Mustard aphid, Lipaphis erysimi (Kalt.) was active during middle of December to February and most abundant during third to fourth week of January at temperature ranging from 7.9°C to 25.5°C. Application of phorate 10 G at planting, dimethoate 30 EC at 45 days after sowing and spraying of Neem 5000 ppm at 60 days after sowing was the most effective in controlling pest population on yellow sarson throughout the crop season.
