Perspective of parasitoids conservation in management of tropical cereal stem borers

Attack of parasitoids can be an effective natural mortality factor to reduce population density of cereal stem borers in the tropics. Conservation of potential parasitoids in natural habitat was therefore improved. In future, their augmentation and effectiveness should be considered a priority, and studies on modelling, regulatory policies and ecosystem based pest management, are urgently needed.
