Abstract

IPM modules M3 comprises of NSE 5% followed by application of endosulfan 0.06%, Novaluron 0.015%, T. chilonis 1.5 lakh/ha, HaNPV 500 LE/ha, and Beta-cyfluthrin 0.0025% and M6 based on Endosulfan 0.06%, Carbaryl 0.2%, fenvalerate 0.0125%, quinalphos 0.05%, monocrotophos 0.06%, and cypermethrin 0.0075% were equally effective in checking green fruiting bodies damage, green boll damage and loculi damage. These modules were closely followed by newly constructed biorational module M2 comprising application of NSE 5%, T. Chilonis 1.5 lakh/ha, spinosad 0.01%, NSE 5%, HaNPV 500 LE/ha, Bt k 1000 ml/ha. IPM module M3 and biorational module M2 recorded highest seed cotton yield of 11.20 q/ha and 10.93 q/ha, respectively with minimum bad seed cotton.
