Abstract

Laboratory studies revealed Leucinodes orbonalis completed its life cycle in 35.27 days. Mating took place on the same or next day after emergence. The pre-oviposition, oviposition, incubation, larval and pupal periods were sound to be 1.35, 2.01, 2.98, 16.32 and 8.01 days, respectively. Female laid 170 eggs. There were five instars. The longevity of male and female was 3.50 and 5.70 days.
