Abstract

Cassia sessia Linn., Delonix regia (Boj.), Perkinsonia aculeata Linn., Tamarindus indica Linn., Medicago polymorpha Linn. and Trifolium alexandrium Linn. have been recorded as the new larval host plant of Terias hecabe (Linnaeus). The gross morphology and duration of various life history stages has been recorded. The larval and oviposition behaviour has been studied in details.
