A field survey was conducted in the north eastern and mid central regions of Orissa comprising of six districts, such as Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Angul and Dhenkanal for host plants and natural enemies of aphids revealed 3 species of non-Aphis L. aphidini and 9 species of non-Aphis L. rhopalosiphina under the tribe aphidini. Most of the host plants, natural enemies, ants and 4 species of aphids (Schizaphis graminum, S. minuta, S. rotundiventris and Rhopalosiphum sp.) are new record from Orissa.
