Abstract

Fungal growth, sporulation and germination of Beauveria bassiana and Metarhizium anisopliae along with compatibility with acetamiprid were investigated. B. bassiana isolates showed late germination than Metarhizium anisopliae isolates. Three concentrations of this insecticide; 1X (field recommended), 0.1X and 10X were used to study compatibility of fungi with the pesticide. No significant difference in growth compared to the control was observed for all ten isolates. Most of the fungal strains showed slightly increased radial growth at 0.1X and 1X concentrations.
