Abstract

There were five peaks of population of aphid during Kharif 2006 and Winter 2006–07 while two peaks were recorded during Summer 2007. Four species of Syrphids, Paragus serratus (Fab.), Ischiodon scutellaris (Fab.), Episyrphus balteatus (De Geer) and Dideopsis aegrota (Fab.) and five species of Coccinellids, Chilomenes sexmaculata Fabr., Psedaspidimerus trinotatus (Thunberg), P. flaviceps (Walker), Scymnus castaneus (Sicard) and S. latimaculatus (Mostschulsky) were found associated with guava aphid.
